[Wolves] Epson printers - any experience?

I bought an Epson Aculaser C1100N, on the grounds that it had good
Linux support and was networkable.  It's plugged straight into the
router, prints from MS no problem.  However, it will not play in Linux.

Before I bore everyone with what I've tried so far, has anyone had any
experience of this, or other Epson printers?
