Thanks for pointing out Hula, Adam.Mozilla Sunbird looks a promising 
calendar client but there has been a bit of a hole for a server.

I've had a bad day so I may just be venting steam but why are so many 
packages integrating mail and calendar tools? I can just about accept 
that mail & news & RSS are just different flavours of asynchronous 
messaging but a calendar is about time allocation, more like project 
management or scheduling tools. It may require a mail transport to 
deliver an invitation but by that token it should include a Viagra 
purchase agent too.
