[Wolves] Linux event- I need help

Hi

I would like to organise a "Linux Event" the possible
venue is the Kinver village Church Hall which is well
known in the village and has ample parking and the
hire cost is reasonable. 

The aim of the evening is to inform visitors about
Linux  and Open Source software. The event will be
aimed at ordinary potential users.

Before I go ahead with further investigations, will
people on the LUG be prepared to help? The crucial
thing is there will be a need for some laptops for
demos and a projector (which I might be able to get
hold of).


The event could consist of something like 

Intro
A short talk about Linux and Open Source software
Demo with lap top and projector
Q&A session 
Visitors to try Linux on laptops
we could put on some refreshments
Give away CDs

I might be able to enlist the help of the local
computer shop.

What do people think?

Kinver is well served with good pubs!! :-)
