It's part of the functionality of the system. It's
kind a zero configuration option for a comprehensive
firewall, with an interface if you want to add or
remove rules.

That said, I could just rip the IP Tables ruleset out
of my Smoothwall box and tweak it, supplying a credit
in my report... I had still better learn IP Tables
though.
