Hello all,
Thanks to the fantastic help I got last time, my USB HDD is working
great under Ubuntu.
However, a puzzle. I have often run Mozilla apps by untarring the
archive & executing the shell script without an install. Thought this
could mean a portable Thunderbird solution in Linux (I use the Win one
and it's great). I tried this with Thunderbird, and all I get is
bash: ./run-mozilla.sh: Permission denied
This trick works fine from the PC's HDD, however.
The shell script has all permissions for me as a user, as does the
HDD, /dev/sda1. What gives?
