[Wolves] Debian/iso help needed

This should have given me a clue! I have got the Debian base system loaded but
cant seem to get the rest on! like an idiot I kept doing mount /dev/cdrom
(Which was an entry) of course thats VM's virtual cdrom aint it! I found that
out this morning 06.00am I did mount /dev/hdc /mnt and deselect was slightly
happier the message said something like "This appears to be a Debian disc" it
wanted me to give the relevant paths, which I tried using both disc 1 and
disc 2, but deselect didnt like it.
I might be doing something wrong (I've never used Debian before and of course
added to that I'm doing it on a virtual machine) I need to find someone who
has posted a success story to the net.
