I'll second that. I've tried SuSE support and it is well, let's say
they have a different idea of support as everybody else. Don't get me
wrong, the support they give is first class it just may not be what
you want.

Agreed again on that I'm afraid. I still have not managed to get
Ubuntu up and running on either of my PC's. I've had SuSE, Madrake
and Red Hat (old one) running on at least one and don't forget I did
have Xandros which is I believe Debian based? on the old PC.
That's just my personal experience of Ubuntu. I've no doubt it is a
very good distro but I have to go with my personal experience.

The SuSE manuals are actually pretty good. But, you can always get
the 'Bible' series for Fedora core and other distro's I believe which
is a very good third party 'manual'.
