Ahh, the big spatial nautilus thing. :)

Firstly, I eagerly suggest you try to stick with the
spatial nautilus, it does tend to work out a lot
easier. I just load up the window, double click on an
icon to enter a directory (or middle click to bring
the directory into the same window).
