I use the tube daily - in fact I'm on my blackberry wandering towards Lancaster gate now - and my biggest fright comes monthly when I renew my ticket.

Absolutely right, Peter.  I've ridden the tube at off peak times and
it's hot and claustrophobic then.  Add a bomb worry and I think I'd
need spare underwear at the end of the journey.
