The only thing to take into consideration is that Squid uses a bit fair
bit of RAM (AFAIK anyway). It shouldn't be problem if you've got more
than 64Mb of ram and a decent sized Swap though.
They are dead easy to set up and most distros have packages ready made
for them (well, Squid at least).
Why do you need them to control t'internet exactly?
