An Apple iBook 12" and a non-Apple, plurally-buttoned mouse. They've 
just held the price and upped the spec. I'd buy the middle model and an 
external USB/Firewire DVD writer if you need it rather than the most 
expensive one so that you can do disk-to-disk copies of non-copyrighted 
media.

I understand the internal Wi-Fi (now included in the price) won't work 
but there is a firmware hack to de-cripple the graphics card to give 
higher resolutions on an external monitor. You might even be able to get 
educational discount.
