[Wolves] how to speed up the boot process

Hello,

I am using mepis but its taking ages to boot-up.  Like
a live cd.  I find generally linux always boot-up
fast.  In verbose mode it takes time on 'dev/ttys0'
and 'dev/ttys1'.  It goes and checks everything, how
can i speed it up.  (what about using ext3 ).
