[Wolves] DVDs on Ubuntu

vlc - packages are in Universe I think. I use it as it allows me to 
scale / enlarge the movies which take up about only 1/5 of my screen 
real estate when viewed in mplayer (mplayer has a zoom option, but this 
really eats up cpu time and results in it behaving poorly)
(I guess they are encoded to a stupid resolution, probably suitable for 
watching on TV, but of no use to anyone watching on a computer)
