If you know of a way of doing that in GMail then please tell me.  That
and the fact that I have to go to Contacts in order to e-mail somebody
irritates me about GMail.  Otherwise it's great.

Try a Google search on 'netiquette'.  You'll  (or should, he says....)
see all the annoyances that people used to moan a lot about. :-)))
