I'm pinning my money on a crap job done by your's truly I followed the 
instructions but apparently I may have the wires the wrong way round 
amazingly the phone will still work even with this error.

I'm using this beauty http://www.seg.co.uk/products/v2600p.html so need it 
near the PC plus the girls will want to hook up their Laptops as well.
