[Wolves] Wireless network card under Linux

Could I have some recommendations for good honest PCI wireless network
(WLAN) cards that will simply work under Linux please?  It's not for
me but for a mate who is looking at setting up a Linux box.

I'm particularly interested in cards that will not need any extra
downloads of drivers or esoteric tweaking to get them recognised :-)))

Any ideas?  Cheapness comes into play too ;-)
