You can see from the disclaimers on that page, that this is a tricky
issue. You have to be careful and try to find out exactly which chipset
is on a particular card. Card makers seem to have a habit of changing
the chipset from one that works out of the box in Linux to one that
doesn't, without changing the card model. I have been burned by this a
couple of times.
