[Wolves] My day's adventure...

I'm not really sure why I'm posting this other than to hopefully warn
others of those silly dangers involved in doing DIY. I've been
setting up an old PC in my workshop (which si nothing more than a
glorified coal hole really) and decided today to run some network
cable to it. I ventured into the dark corners of the loft and ran
cable between the rafters. So far, so good. Then I found that I
couldn't quite get the cable to fit through the hole where the power
cable goes into the workshop. So, I decided to get the old hammer
srill out and widen it a bit.... It was all going smoothly until
suddenly!!!!! STOP!!! Drill cuts out, light go off and silence.
Silly me hadn't bothered to cut the power to the workshop and even
though I was drilling a separate hole the drill had obviously wandered
and decided to try to chew the existing power cable. Now at this
point it suddenly dawned on me just how bloody stupid I had been. I
am now thanking whatever superior being is up there for the fact that
I had instant trip circuit breakers put in a few years ago on the
electricity supply. Otherwise I could have been toast :-(((

Now I've not only got the network wiring to do but also a rewire of
the power supply to the workshop before I can power the PC up
again....
