Hi Mo

As you know Suse has an IBM module hence the high support for those Laptops.

I ran Mandriva very successfully on a Toshiba 4020CDS which is old now. I wish 
I could help you more.

If you do go ahead I'd be interested in the results as I'm thinking of 
replacing this old work horse.
