[Wolves] compression formats

hi all,

whats the best compression out of the following....

.gz
.bz2
.tar
.tar.gz
.tar.bz2
.zip

If anyone knows it would be great. i have a feeling that tar.bz2 is the best 
but i really ain't sure...
