Been there done that, wasn't zero install the topic of choice at every 
lug meeting a couple of years back?

If Aq and myself had a few more free hours about 18 months back we would 
all be running a whole os based on debian and app dirs ;-)  the only 
major problem found in our initial piss arounds was the name, spaq just 
didn't make the political correctness grade phonetically ;-P

Then ubuntu was annouced and suddenly making a linux desktop more admin 
friendly wasn't such a great pull when you know cannonical where hiring 
all the people who could make it happen without any effort on my part ;-)
