I saw this taken to a rediculous extreme at one of the big London
accountancy companies. I went for a contract system management
(sysadmin) job and they asked what my specialisation was. One of the
jobs available was managing the print queues. I came from a background
where 3 people looked after everything. They ran the place like a
mainframe shop with a huge staff but noone who could look after a
machine alone.
