Hi
The first post for a long time! I have not disappeared ! I have not had any problems with my SUSE Linux , or indeed if I had was able to resolve myself quickly. But this is not always the case as I have a question now!!
I have installed Thunderbird and I am quite impressed with it.However, I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it to find that it has picked up the information from the first installation. How does this happen and where does such information get stored? I searched my hard drive for files that have the Thunderbird name in it and can only find the ones I put there.
Cheers
Mo
PS: In my "absence" period I have done a few more Linux installations for a few people with mixed successes. Some people love it and some don't because they can't change their habbits, or they like to use their "favourite" application which is not in Linux even though there are equivalents that are the same or better. The work continues.
