What are the three leads on a cpu fan for?  Reason is, I needed a new
fan for my ipcop machine but I couldn't find the exact heatsink/fan I
needed.  The current one is connected to a standard 4 pin power
connector and has two leads red and black coming off it, the new fan
has three leads red yellow and black can I connect it up to the
original 2 leads coming off the 4pin adapter or not?  Is the yellow
lead relevant?
