[Wolves] ISA how to's???

Can anybody point me to a good and foolproof how to for configuring an
old Creative Soundblaster ISA card?  I had the card years ago and it
is good.  I have never managed to get it working under any flavour of
Linux though.  I have tried umpteen different ways with nothing
working.

Any ideas?
