[Wolves] Trying Ubuntu dapper

While we are on the subject of odd behaviour in Dapper.  With
appropriate apologies for the thread hijacking, any ideas how I can
chang ethe resolution in the graphical log in screen?  It would appear
to be something odd like 600x400.  This is of course kdm as I'm using
Kubuntu.
