I have a feeling that, like many other Creative devices, they seem to
pick the interface out of the random bag...

That's not a surprise to be honest. I found a far better Linux
program for something I have (which I cannot for the life of me
remember at this moment) than the bundled Windows version.
Thanks for that anyway, Ad. It looks like I may have to go to the
dark side and sort out Gnome ;-)))))))
