The patents - which are excluded from patentability in Article 52 EPC
*may* be invalidated.

Let's take our time on this one.  We need some legal eagles to sit down
and have a chat about the true implications of this.  Bear in mind that
the European Commission is not likely to completely reverse its position
easily and that the above statement may or may not reflect a legally
binding stance.

The pro-patent groups are very powerful.  This matter is far from over.
