Hello,

Bit of a shameless plug but if anyone is interested in the Python
programming language, or wants to find out more, the Python West
Midlands User Group will be holding its first meeting on Friday 2nd
February 2007, where we can meet each other and discuss Python and the
future activities of the group.

Its over in Birmingham, but if you can get to Wolverhampton train
station then the 18:41 train takes all of 17 minutes to get there and
we will pick you up from Birmingham New Street Rail Station. The Metro
takes 35 minutes and lands very near the pub, also landing near the
pub is the 126 bus leaving from stand M of Wolverhampton bus station
at 18:03.

We are meeting in a reserved room at a Birmingham pub/restaurant
called the Bull. Most of us are planning to eat together (but this is
not compulsory). The Bull was founded in 1729, cooks fresh food, has a
fine collection of Real Ale and even Wireless Internet. We are
planning to start the group at 7.30pm, (I personally will be ordering
my food on the dot as I will be very hungry by then ; ).

For car drivers, the Bull is in Price Street, B4 6JU, it is on the
corner of Price Street and Loveday Street in the centre of the
historic Gun Quarter, near the Central Fire Station and Aston Uni. If
you are coming on public transport and want the pickup then email the
PyWM Mailing List and let us know ASAP and we will arrange to collect
you.
