I've not read all the responses to your request;
A. because I don't use Virgin so cant comment (Repeating hearsay is 
always dangerous).
B. I only really know about the service from work.

In the so called 'Leader Board' I'm lead to believe Virgin are streets 
ahead at the minute with BT a close second this is based on price --> 
service e.g. what you get for your money. As for Customer support 
they're all a bunch of wazzocks even us sometimes "Switch your router 
off for 30 minutes to recreate the DSL session"

Thank god I don't rely on BB to make a living its a pile of doggy doo 
doo anyway, get on, get me mail, get off might as well go back to dialup 
it'd be a heck of a lot cheaper, oh hang on I get mine from work :-)
