Well i downloaded it from the Geubuntu site, off one of thier official 
mirrors, so there should be no problem there. Running the CD in windows 
is fine, pops up with the K-Meleon browser. I'll let it run past the 
Buffer I/O Errors anyway, i'm just curious as to what's happening. 
Although your explanation as to the md5sum probelm seems fitting.
