Cool, didn't seem so slow actually :)

My own bunch of DNS links which I mentioned during the talk are:

Online book:

http://www.zytrax.com/books/dns/

Howtos:

http://www.howtoforge.com/installing-an-ubuntu8.04-dns-server-with-bind
http://www.howtoforge.com/debian_bind9_master_slave_system
http://www.openaddict.com/node/30

Other Resources:

http://www.dnsstuff.com/
http://www.opendns.com/ (of course)

If you want to buy treeware, the O'Reilly DNS and BIND book is the
authoritative BIND text, but a very dry read. I'm sure the BIND docs as
linked in Chris's presentation are also good, though strangely, I've not
used them myself before.

Also, regarding the Ubuntu 8.04 and BIND link above, there is in fact no
need to disable or uninstall AppArmor, it's actually not hard to figure
out that you need to change the AppArmour profile for BIND as the paths
to the files used by BIND have changed from the defaults, given that
you've chrooted the DNS server and moved all of its files, it's just
that the author didn't understand why AppArmor stopped the chrooted DNS
server working:
