Wrong :).  Infact if you start as a sole trader you can get some
cracking deals as ~18 months free banking, then become LTD to get
another long term free banking period.  However, this is possibly a poor
decision for doing it this way.

I've been a member of the BCS and IEEE/CS for a number of years now, and
all i get is a crummy magazine :(.  Oh, and i suppose additional
initials after my name, but i don't.

The other thing i mean't to mention, it's quite a good idea to use the
full "Limited" in the formation of the company, such as "Foobar
Limited".  This allows you to refer to it as both "Foobar Limited" and
"Foobar LTD".  If you use the later in registration you can't use the
expanded version.
