[Wolves] Ideas for disposal of old Computers

I thought I'd approach the list for their take on what to do with old
computers.  

I have an old dragon 32 - which was my first computer.  But the wife
seems keen to get rid of it.  I'm resigned to the fact that it will have
to go, but I am unsure of the best thing to do with it, or whether there
is any value (not monetary but historical) to the thing.

So what do you guys think?  Is there a way that I can get rid of an old
computer without damaging the environment, but potentially at the same
time providing a benefit to the IT Community?

Any ideas, thoughts?
