[Wolves] Network connection issue

Something that has thrown me in the past, Mo, is perhaps the simplest
of the lot.  Are you 100% sure that the NIC is working?  I've had
green lights on or flashing in the past yet the card has simply been
duff.  I've swapped it out for another known working one and bingo! I
have a network again.  Make sure your cables are all ok too as they
can be easily damaged if they get pulled.
