Ok, thank you for the feedback on this :-)  Freegle is actually the
name that has been chosen (from a list of not really very good ones
IMHO) for the new recycling network in the UK.  'The Frecycle Network'
is in meltdown here in the UK.  There are more and more groups leaving
TFN everyday.  This has all come about because of 'founder syndrome'
from the ..... well, founder :-)  Silly things like not allowing local
group moderators to ehlp out other neighbouring groups at times of
holidays etc.  Owners and moderators have actually been told they are
no longer wanted and to hand over their groups to some faceless person
in the US.  Those owners and mod's have then been said to be bad
people (in so many words).  So, after not so much a breakdown of talks
but more no talks from the US people here have finally learned and are
leaving.  A lot are now calling themselves Freegle groups.

Some are also coming over to Freeworld-Recycling with others simply
calling themselves '* Recycle' with the star dnoting whatever area
they are in.

In a nutshell it's all about freedom and breaking out of lock in.
Locally Wolves and 'Brewood, Codsall and Stretton Freecycle' are now
Wolves and BC&S Freegle respectiely.  Walsall and Cheslyn Hay
Freecycle have been Walsall and Cheslyn Hay Freeworld-Recycling
(shortened to Freeworld for ease of use) for a few months.

Ultimately all that any of us wanted to do was to offer a local free
ecycling service to keep usable stuff (plenty of IT bits) out of
landfill and helping to keep people's council tax bills down of course
:-)
