Try changing
<h1>
.. to ..
<h1 style="clear: both;">

In other words, the images you have are floating left past the 
surrounding/following text. Clearing the float stops images floating past the 
heading, which (from your viewpoint) also stops the heading appearing to float 
to the right of the images.

Actually, given that you're only floating left, "clear: left;" will suffice to 
clear it.
