[Wolves] Increasing wireless coverage

Totally off the top of my head idea here :-)

Is it possible to run a line from the master socket to the attic/roof
space.  Then run the router from there at an optimum position to give
coverage 'below' of the rooms you will be using the PC/laptop in?  My
thoughts are that you'd get an angle of signal downwards that would
only have to go through plaster and floorboard not brick walls.
Admittedly there are flaws in this concerning only a shallow of angle
of coverage and positioning of interior walls.

As I said, it was off the top of my head and maybe somebody could expand on it?
