I've installed Ubuntu 11 on an oldish Toshiba Portege, WiFi Bluetooth,
touch screen and it installed fine (prefer the GUI on v10 TBH).
Download and try various distros to see what works for you, if you
don't like one just wipe it and install a different one....experiment.
