[Wolves] what live usb pen linux virus checker should i use

my friend got 4tb external hard drive and  a movie or mp3 file has got
a virus , we need to work out which files/directory are inffected.

I know there a number of different linux distro that does this job
which is the best and will not actually change anything on the drive ,
I do not want to fix it yet just find the virus infection? I guess i
will be ntfs not sure the 4tb?
