[Wolves] uefi bios visible on external monitor

Probably not a blatant concious decision to do so but I suspect it's like my Dell and it simply hasn't set up the secondary display devices at this point, after all it doesn't "know" that the screen is broken. how about booting it and try and get into the BIOS blind then hit the mysterious function key to get it to mirror the internal and external screens ....may work but unlikely!
Failing that boot into an install CD of an Install CD that has Diagnostics memory etc and give it a thrash there!

Subject: [Wolves] uefi bios visible on external monitor

i am having problems with laptop with uefi boot i do not think it
related to the bios but i would like to get access to the bios so i
can see cpu temp. it keeps crashing and finding hard to pin down why ,
the cpu temp does not seem too hot..

is it part of the uefi design not to get see the external vga monitor
or hdmi tv? does force people to either scrap there laptops with
broken screens or pay for replacement screen , in my cynical state i
think it designed into the system to make them even more dispossable
and not a very green way to go.

is microsoft/intel/compaq forcing them to make it impossible to see
the bios screen with external screen?

i am trying to get the keyboard off the laptop so i can clean out the
dust/dirt from the cpu fan etc

thank you all for your help

mark
