Hi Andy

There are a few of us there (one is a bot), but we're all at work. IRC
can be a bit slow, you leave it running and people reply when they take
breaks or breathers. Every now and again, conversation breaks out.

I've just seen you've logged in, said hello and left. Please re-join and
leave it running. You can type people's usernames to get people's
attention if you need someone in particular and they'll get some kind of
notification that they've been nudged, though that's not to say they're
able to respond at the time.

FWIW, my user might be online all the time (I have it running on a
Raspberry Pi that's always on), but I try to list myself as away when
I'm not there.
