I created an account ages ago on mastodon.network (according to my 
email) but that looks like it's disappeared into a porn site or 
something now.

So this time, I chose to use fosstodon.org - so I'm 
https://fosstodon.org/web/@TheGingerDog - but I've no real idea what I'm 
doing there ...
