I've had this email from David Holder - he's done us a couple of
presentations in the past. I'm not quite sure what to do with his offer.
Should we just post it to wylug-discuss or should it just be announced at
the next meeting?

Hi! It is a long time since we were last in touch; I hope that you are well.



I am now living in the far north west of Scotland near Lochinver. So I have
not had any opportunity to attend WYLUG recently!!



We are running two courses in Sheffield in February and I’d like to offer a
25% discount to all at WYLUG. The details are as follows:

Obviously, since there is no such thing as membership of WYLUG there is no
way that I can prove that someone attends WYLUG when they book. But I would
be grateful if folk don’t abuse this offer by putting it on bulletin boards
etc!

Also, I understand that progress has been made on implementing IPv6 in
Europe’s research networks. Are you involved in this yourself?
