Greetings all,
Thanks to Smylers for the Request Tracker talk - and the audience
participation. I'm waiting for Aaron to volunteer to do another talk
just to continue the vendetta :-) Thanks to Rob for the RPC programming
demo.
A reminder of the NEW MEETING VENUE at University of Leeds, in Chemistry -
actually on Woodhouse Lane, so should be easier to find. Check out the
website,
http://www.wylug.org.uk/intro.html#where
for new details. Walk out of Leeds on Woodhouse Lane, past the Parkinson
building steps, and the next building is Chemistry. Follow the signs on
the door !!
The talks this Monday.....
James Holden on "Webmail using Horde and IMP", setting up robust,
scaleable web-based email and calendaring on a shoestring.
Simon Wood on "Programming PICs using Linux", A brief introduction to
Microchip's PIC Micro-controller, including how to compile code and
programme the devices using Linux OS.
See you all on Monday,
cheers
Jim
