Ted T'so is visiting us from Massachusetts in the
States to give a presentation about Linux 2.6 Kernel internals. To
read more about him have a look at his home page...
http://thunk.org/tytso/
The presentation will begin at 19.00 in room 7140 in the Stoddart
building at Sheffield Hallam University. This is just next to the
train and bus stations. Those of you who came along to the recent
Richard Stallman presentation will know that this is the same room as
last time. If you want to find a map have a look around the SHU site
at www.shu.ac.uk.

To come along to this session you will need to register. Cost of this
is nothing at all - as in free - nada or nothing. To register
please call 0800 073 7474. You may wish to do that now. Most Ted
T'so presentations are crowded out. See also..

our epic mission to boldly go and do all kinds of strange things in
public. Dinner will start at about 21.30 and finish at about 23.00.
Venue is the Trattoria Sorrento at Northfield Road, Crookes,
Sheffield. Scene of many a dinner with some well known open source
luminaries. Also known as Luigis place. Good choice of vegetarian
and meaty dishes. Excellent steaks. Cannelloni a speciality.
If you want to come along to this please say so. We have to let Luigi
know how many people will be sitting down for dinner. Contact myself
directly about dinner.
