[Wylug-discuss] Off Topic - Java app for c.card details..

Completely off topic, but I just wanted to check the stupidity level of
using a java app to send credit card details to an on line store....

A site I use has updated, and now requires you to run a java app - which
is served from a normal 'http' site (i.e. not 'https'). It does however
display a nice picture of a closed padlock ;-)

Am I over reacting or is this a really stupid thing to do?
