This doesn't answer any questions but thought I might make some
comments.  Went out to the Linux Expo in San Francisco in August.
Found myself on the AMD stand talking to Rebecca Gonzales.  Also found
a Linux PDA fan from Manchester UK standing next to me.  Something of
a shock.

When I pulled out my iPAQ and showed it to Rebecca and some other
people we noticed the similarity between this and the Zaurus and the
new AMD PDA which uses similar software.  AMD claim that their PDA
uses "OpenPDA" software.  Looks and works just like Opie :)

I think if I was to give advice it would be to watch out when you
update your PDA to the latest release.  Always compare notes with
someone else before updating.  You don't want to lose your contacts or
other PIM info.   Other applications may get broken in a new release.
Think before you do :))
