WYLUG has received this invite - is there anyone out there ready to
volunteer to do it?

If so let me know or email Wes direct, but I'd appreciate being Cc'd.

cheers
Jim

Subject: Leeds University CompSoc Invitation

CompSoc are trying to get together an active academic talk/seminar schedule
for this year. We were wondering if there was a representative of WYLUG who
would like to give an introductory talk on linux, and plug WYLUG at the same
time. Nothing too heavy or technical is needed but more a history of linux,
Linux is not GNU, what is a distro, and that sort of thing.

If there is someone who would be interested then we would like to schedule
this particular talk relatively early on in the calander such as mid October.

Feel free to contact myself or compsoc at comp.leeds.ac.uk for any more
information or ideas.

Regards,

Wes
CompSoc President
