One reason you shouldn't is the stress that can be put on computers
by reboots.

This is (perhaps) not as big a deal as in the past, but reboots (and,
even more so, powerdowns) cause a number of things that I suspect puts
stress on hardware:

	* spin-downs and spin-ups of disks/fans - not great for
	  bearings;
	* thermal shocks as the system cools on shutdown and warms
	  up on reboot;
	* nasty power demands as the BIOS starts everything up (will
	  certainly stress the PSU - may cause premature failure).

I'm sure there are many more.

I just can't see any justification for *wanting* to reboot daily.
